To join Thunderer Squadron you must first be selected to become an Officer in the Royal Navy, Army, RAF or MOD Civil Service (DESG).  Secondly, you must be selected to study at The University of Southampton. The preferred entry route is via Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College at the age of 16, but direct entry routes into DTUS are available.
