Thunderer Squadron members participate in various military exercises throughout their time at Southampton.  Their involvement will initially be as an exercising troop but as their seniority rises within the Squadron, this role could involve teaching junior members or as a supporting troop.  We use military training areas throughout the UK and each exercise will build on skills that the individual has previously gained.

Squadron members also have the opportunity to visit overseas British or NATO military units.
